The late bird catches the food

I was very late for my walk around the nature reserve tonight. 
I must say that, contrary to my personality, which hates routine and predictability, I have found the regular excursions during lockdown quite calming.
Tonight, I didn't arrive until the light had started to fade, so although I had my monopod I only had a few keepers from my visit. 
This blackbird was there waiting for me on arrival. A woman had brought a big bag of food so the blackbird got in just before the squirrels.
