Sea Scouts - Charles N Curtis

Today husband asked where I wanted to go for photos, we were headed into Port Townsend so it was an easy answer "the boatyard".  I stopped to look at the Charles N Curtis in dry dock and noticed that all the workers were around 12 to 16 years old, an adult member of the Sea Scouts came over and explained the program to me.  Husband and son came back from the coffee shop and joined us in conversation about the project and the scouts.  They have to take the boat out every year to inspect and repaint, the work is done by the Sea Scouts.  The  wooden boat turns 90 years old this year!
