Camellia

Time for my annual camellia photograph.  I always welcome these flowers - the first bit of colour in the garden each year (even beating the daffodils). Some blooms are dropping, but there are plenty more buds on the way. I notice that the flower I focussed on seems to have an insect of some sort hiding between the petals - I didn't see that until I looked at the image on the computer.

I have received my first folio from the United Photographic Postfolios of Great Britain, which I joined a few weeks ago.  It is so lovely to see prints again.  They are just A4 prints (which keeps the cost and postage down) but still enjoyable.
