The Last Post

Found this old gate post hiding in a bush. It appears to be on its own with no mates anywhere nearby. I wonder if it got separated when the land was used for building the A1(M) near Boston Spa...

This was on my walk this morning which turned out to be longer than expected. I had walked about three miles and heading for home when I met Mrs madwill coming in the opposite direction... so I turned around and we walked to Boston Spa for coffee and brownies from the little pop up cafe!

I finished up walking 7.5 miles in total....

Not done much else today.

We can have a steak each for tea tonight...we got two this week with our groceries delivery!
