Rhubarb

After an early walk to buy the papers and some bread I have stayed at home reading said papers and taking part in an online singing session. I ventured outside just now to pot up the plants that I bought yesterday. It's cold out there but everything is growing strongly including the rhubarb with its excessively crinkled leaves in all shades from bronze to green. Only a few short stems so far so no crumble and custard yet.
