A host

These daffodils grow wild in a local wood. I often wonder if I might be the only person who sees them, so I’m sharing their loveliness on blip. The wood is not one where anyone walks, and the people who own it only go there to dump their garden refuse. It’s home to badgers and deer and is beautiful with bluebells in May. Long May it stay that way...

This morning I went on the kind of walk which I call a “bimble “ ; no real idea of a destination, just a wander wherever I feel like going. I noticed that the nettles are growing and made plans for soup later in the week. Even though the sun was shining, the wind was chilly. Some cold and breezy weather is on its way.

A bit of gardening got done in the afternoon, and now I’m back inside for a cup of tea and I think the fire will be lit a bit earlier than usual..

todays walks: Local bimble 4.21 miles. Short walk before tea: 1.48 miles
