Tree Planters

Who knew they could be so political?  Glastonbury had some improvement money and about £15000 was spent on about 10 or so of these tree planters.  They suddenly appeared overnight  last week in the High Street and caused an absolute furore with the locals because they are so out of keeping with the town that is usually known for its colour and vibrancy. After many very vocal complaints, the council has apologised and all the planters have been moved to less conspicuous locations. It was a right old debacle! More here.
