The Next Subject

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

It is nice to be able to take a break from horror. I've watched two Shelley Winters films today. 

The first was a Ronald Colman movie where he's an actor who plays Othello and goes mad and ends up strangling Shelley because he thinks she was cheating on him with Cassio. 

It was all right. 

The second was "A Place in the Sun" which is a bit of a Shelley Classic. I never understand why Monty dumps her for Liz though. 

I've never understood the appeal of Liz. 

I have not yet started this book. (There is a second volume as well) but I am looking forward to it. 

I was going to do some episodes on Oliver Reed. But, having studied the man, I am coming to the conclusion that he is a dick. Funnily enough this is because of an incident involving Shelley Winters, where he's an arse to her on a chat show. 

And I thought, "Why would I voluntarily spend more time with dicks than I need to?"

So that was that.
