Eurasian Teal

Today it was been blowing a hoolie, like most of the South West of France, although the temperatures were quite mild, and almost warm in the shade of the wind.

I spent 3 1/2 hours in a dentist's chair having root canal work done ... I recommend it ... #Not

So I thought, if I can do that, I can go and get a pic and I saw some ducks from afar, that didn't look, like mallards.
There were about 6 of them, the others flew off as they caught site of me, but this one stayed.

It's a shame it was so far away and we can't see the beautiful colours under the wings - teal green they are ....
