Great Preston

My No 1 son lives in one of those houses. The Village of Gt Preston lies between Kippax and Allerton Bywater It has a school and used to have a Church St Aidens  it once had 2 schools but the infants was moved to the junior school and the old infants school has now been converted to a house, a very big house. There are more houses over the other side of the hill.

It's been a cold day with odd showers. and very windy too. Spent time this afternoon in the greenhouse again sorting stuff out and throwing lots of it away.

We were watching a little mouse this morning she was collecting leaves and bits and taking them back into a hole in the stone wall that we have built round part of the garden, she was so busy.

The hedgehog is back comes every night now, but prefers Purina Kitten food to Iams and won't touch the special hedgehog food we sent for that all hedgehogs are supposed to love either.

Watched the Rugby tonight, it was a good game Scotland just won by the skin of their teeth in the last minutes
