Greenhouse heating.

I cannot get the greenhouse to be the right temperature. I am heating it with paraffin which is smelly and difficult. My tomatoes are looking very sickly- the temperature range is massive 4 degrees up to 35. If I turn my back and the sun shines the temperature flies up.
