Bright spot

Despite the sunshine here today there was a chilly wind and it even hailed a couple of times.

And, as if to remind me that we’re not free of winter’s clutches, I found it hard to see much to photograph in the garden. Everything was looking dormant and brown, until I came upon this beauty. Looked it up (on the plant identifying app!) and apparently it’s ‘Leatherleaf mahonia’?

I thought it was quite lovely with its reds, yellow and greens.

Watched Scotland v France rugby match tonight and it was epic!! Great to see our boys win :)
