Frieda through the looking glass

Another in the Frieda Friday series: Jack is normally at home with her on Fridays, but he's doing a few Fridays on a short-term piece of project work, in addition to his normal job.  So she was with us today.

As it happens, Frieda's had a snotty cold all week, and so wasn't quite as energetic as usual. We pottered about all day in the house - her choice. She loves the long mirror in our spare bedroom, it's a wonderful source of shared laughter as she makes faces at herself in it.  And the plastic frogs that were once baby toys for bathtime have taken on a new lease of life as make-believe characters, accompanying her on her ramblings around the house.

Richard and I have bought in some takeaway South Indian curries for tonight: a chance to relax.  The Duplo pieces that currently carpet much of the floor downstairs might have to wait till tomorrow to be tidied up :-)
