Purple spoon-leaves stonecrop

The correct botanical name is Sedum Spathulifolium 'Purpureum' ...... quite a mouthful so I'll just stick with Sedum.

I'm hoping my friend will give me a couple of cuttings to plant in both my garden and the garden in Elie ..... the latter always needs plenty of ground cover plants to help suppress the incredible weed growth. As we can't travel to Fife till the 26th April I have plenty of time to take my bucket and spade and dig up a couple of bits.

The weather today, although colder, has been much better than forecast. Lengthy periods of bright sunshine and only one sleety shower mid morning.
