Creeping
We crept around the fields, he crept around the tree trunk.
It was a lovely outing.
A robin was singing in a bud-filled tree and I found the long-tailed tit nest by doing a distanced but slow walk-by. It's very well camouflaged in the middle of the hedge but I know where I can keep an eye on it. They're amazing creations - I've never seen one before. There was bird song all around and I enjoyed chats along the way with a couple of locals.
Little Dog demanded her ball heading down through the field which, for a 14 year old, isn't bad going. I throw the ball low and only a short way and she charges off after picking it up. It's restricted and careful play on her joints now but it's lovely to see her enjoying running still - so much so, I couldn't resist an extra today.
