The old cuckoo clock has plenty of coo but very little cuck. Looks like the bellows have perished so it’s time for a new set of lungs. The little clock was a gift from friends in the Black Forest. Before these stay-at-home-days we’d travel across to Germany every year for the past 30 years or so. I think the clock is about 100 years old, made in the Black Forest, and a great visual and audible (although a little wheezy) reminder of good friends and good days in Germany. We’re wondering when the next time might be for us to travel to the Schwartzwald.
