Durham

Had to go to the passport office in Durham. The necessary documents were handed in and we had a 4 hour wait for everything to be processed and the new passport printed. So we had a good look around the Cathedral which houses the tombs of St Cuthbert and St Bede and has some stunning stained glass windows. I was in awe. Unfortunately no photography is permitted inside, so this is just outside in the cloisters.
We went back for the passport after 3 1/2 hours and it was ready. A very good service!
