Thomas Procter

Taken in Kirkgate, Settle, a small market town in North Yorkshire. The blue plaque reads ""Thomas Procter (1753-1794) Noted Painter and Sculptor was born here at the Spread Eagle Inn."

Now it's a private house, no longer in the business of intoxicating the local residents:) For anyone interested it would seem Procter was a prolific artist and sculptor and you can read all about him HERE

I had intended to Blip a nice landscape as there are quite a few on the way to Settle from our home, however, whilst it was sunny and warm the mist was almost a fog, making it fairly useless, so I offer this which caught my curiosity instead:)
