A worldwide walk home

Today started early with meetings on Zoom and the day went long. It was one of those days of meetings with people in Alaska, California, Texas, Chicago, Atlanta, Toronto, Sweden, and me here in this rural field in Alberta Canada.

It’s these kinds of days that help me feel connected to the rest of the world. Sometimes this place gets really small and my world view gets narrow and I think that’s normal. And then I get to share life with these people who remind me that it’s all so much bigger. I’m grateful for that.

Tonight after the long day, my walk home was about fifty feet. And this was my view.

It was a good day.
