A Hard Dave's Night

My Dear Princess, Loulou and Fellows,

Gromit's struggles with dumbarse Marketing Effers continues. I feel bad for her. But I think it says something about her, that me and the rest of her team are rallying around. She's a good leader and we want her to succeed.

This is why I was frantically looking for Marketing-Worthy images all day today. Those effers were incredibly patronising in a meeting with us. When we said we wanted to use 116 pictures instead of their stupid expensive illustrations, they were all, "Well ho ho, I think you'll find it's not THAT EASY finding 116 photos that you can get the rights to."

As of 8pm yesterday, I had got 44. On my own. It's piss-easy.

Effers.

I took a break for looking royalty-free, high-resolution pictures of native birds to play with Dave. He loves it when you go out in the garden with him, and he's just so kitteny.

The boys were never really interested in this toy, Princess. I hate to break it to you, but it is true. They DID love the mice. But not the Santa on a Stick.

Dave LOVES it!

He darts around, chasing it. "Yaaaaay!! I'm a Christmas cat!" he says.

And when he gets tired, he YANKS the toy out of my hand and runs off with it, to play with it in the grass. I have to retrieve it from a corner of the garden every morning.

I wish I could use 116 pictures of cats. But I can't because Marketing Effers.

S.
