2021 Wednesday — Road Trip North

We left our SoCal house at 9:00. We arrived at our Central Coast place after 4 hrs 10 minutes of driving, but more time when we add in the stops. Lots of LA traffic the first hour of driving; then several stops along the way.

The best stop was “Lookout Park” in Summerland. Mitzi and Chloe love that park.

The worst stop was when the Highway Patrolman pulled us over. Honest, we were traveling with the flow of other traffic. We are thanking God for nice guys who give warnings (he clocked us at 81).

We arrived at our little lavender house about 2:30. We unpacked while Mitzi slept snoring on our little sofa. Chloe and Mitzi settle-in here very quickly (so do we).

So the photo collage is our offramp In San Luis Obispo from the 101 Freeway to Hwy 1 and the curve coming out of Morro Bay and looking north toward Cayucos, and then our little lavender house.

We are delighted to be back at the coast.
