Pheasant ( Phasianus colchicus )

The plan was to go for a socially distanced walk with Kanyl.  However the weather wasn't at all tempting so we will have another go tomorrow.

Having suddenly got an afternoon to myself which I wasn't expecting I busied myself around home with various jobs which which needed my attention.   So occupied that I almost forgot about blipping.

Taking time to look for birds for the bTO Garden Birdwatch I noticed this female pheasant pecking about among the Irises under the feeding station.  The camera happened to be handy so I took about three shots.  They were the only shots for the day so a pheasant it had to be.
