Home again

Thank you for all the good wishes about my return yesterday. The winds had abated by the airport and flights went as normal. I flew with TAP (the Portuguese national airline which I think is fabulous) and the plane was packed, with those who had been unable to leave the day before. But they told tales of wonderful service, great hotel overnight and delicious meals. I think I'll book with them again :-)

It was freezing and foggy when I surfaced. I had got in about 1.30 am and needed the sleep. I collected Sparkie who protested for about ten minutes (loudly) and then proceeded to follow me around purring (also loudly).

The sun had broken through the gloom by lunchtime and I had a good look at how the garden was doing.

Cyd had to get in on the act. She had turned up shortly after dawn for food !

Last year, my garden was full of ladybirds. I blipped them so often I was accused of stalking ! But I could only find one, so she has become today's blip.
