Piggyback ride

A fab walk with a friend, we drove a short way out on the A47 for a change of scenery and a bit of undulation in the landscape. Fields full of lambs all over. In one of the woods we nearly trampled these toads on the path. Apparently the males (which are smaller than the females) are not above hitching a lift on the back of their bride as they head to the nearest pond for mating.
