One Year On
A year ago the country went into a lockdown and, as Blippers, we have recorded events of our daily lives throughout these strange times in a series of daily photos.
I started walking everywhere and always carried a camera to try and capture the things I'm most interested in, mainly Mother Nature.
A couple of months ago I was selected to receive a generous voucher to put towards producing a Saal-Digital Professional Line Photobook.
The only condition was to share a review of the finished product on social media.
I decided to title my book "A Photographic Journey Through The Pandemic' and selected the images that have given me the most pleasure during the past 12 months.
I didn't want to make a paper copy of my Blip entries so there is limited text. However, the options when creating one of these books, are seemingly endless.
The book is constructed using the Saal-Digital software, which is very straightforward to download. It is easy to go back to add or subtract items from your creation. There are several 'how to' videos on the company's website to start you off if you need some guidance.
I won't go into to too much detail here but I did want to share with you my finished book which you can view by clicking the link below (hopefully!)

As you will see it is a lay flat book which shows off the double page spreads really well and the high end thick matt paper shouts quality.
The colour matching to my monitor is 100%
I should just add that the inside front cover sheet looks rippled but it is, in fact, the reflections of the reeds. The page is completely flat
I chose to have a plain black leather cover but other cover materials are available.
If you have the time please take a look at both my book and

BTW my blip today is of me flipping through the pages of the book.
