6 weeks ago , when we returned from our summer at Lake Tarawera, the large urn outside the stitching cave was looking rather dried up and forlorn. I cut things back, thinned others out and watered and added a tiny portion of liquid manure. The dianthus and violas have been blooming again for a couple of weeks or so and this morning this dainty calibrachoa opened up and beamed in the sunshine.
