Drying out
The day developed into a good washing drying day. Sunny in between clouds and rather windy, about 8 degrees warm. Some washing was done and drying took care of itself.
After lunch i drove MrT's daughter to the hospital to see her father who has had some fever from an infection in the last couple of days. Unfortunately, in the end he was too weak to see her, which is a disappointment for her since she flies back to the US in two days. She's spent most of her time here cleaning his house and sorting through things left in the house from her childhood.
I took the chance to get my hair cut, now that I was in town for once, and also had a coffee at a café and went to a bookshop to get some new books to read. I felt like a normal person living a normal life for a little while there but was reminded of the pandemic because the town looked deserted, not many people out on a regular Wednesday afternoon in Kalmar these days The extra shows the main square at three o'clock. Normally you'd find lots of people shopping, strolling or visiting the cafés.
