And Just Like That...

she’s old enough to drive. From birth, until just a year or so ago, this grand seemed to be here more than her own home; to a lesser extent, some of the others as well. Hopefully, my goal to give them a solid moral Christian foundation will be met. We grabbed her a bite of breakfast, she took the test and passed. Next, we got her eyebrows waxed (yikes!) and I followed thru and bought her sushi, as promised, for success. We grabbed the wooden items needed to finish two projects and I dropped her at home. Hubby finished repairing the closet shelves, installing the grab bars and painting the barn quilt foundation color. What a productive day. It has poured rain here since last night so after I got home, the calming drip, drip, drip wooed me to sleep for a few. Tonight is the last Mission presentation and I am so glad we chose to attend the four-day event. It was hard to pass up a celebratory dinner at the steak house with this one’s family though. Thanks for the visits, etc of late. Kids want and need tough love to get through the perils of life. Be there for them. You’ll be glad you did.
