Street & Glastonbury

This afternoon Tess, Chris and I walked the footpath that leads from Walton to the top of Syreet Hill. We've only recently realised it's there but it gives a fine view of the whole of Street (in the middle distance) and Glastonbury (to the left of the Tor) with the Mendip Hills beyond.

We'd been chatting to the ladies heading downhill in the blip for several minutes; we know them from the outdoor pool and there was much discussion of the fact that it isn't going to open again this year because possible Covid restrictions are likely to make it financially unviable. It will be sorely missed again

This morning Tess & I enjoyed our midweek run before breakfast then had a trip to the recycling centre with a lot of stuff we'd cleared from the decorated rooms.
