Nesting birds

On today’s after work walk round the old ash lagoons I saw that signs had been put up about ensuring dogs are on leads between April and August to protect ground nesting birds. Part of the old lagoons are now the Levenhall Bird reserve too. I understand that this area is pretty important for bird life according to the RSPB.
