Viburno tino (o Laurotino)

I was talking to SparseRunner yesterday about how Lombardy is adrift regarding the regional vaccination campaign.

And this morning Besta Institute of Milan called me for an appointment for the first dose of Moderna for tomorrow. Apparently they have finally decided to leave the vaccinations of people defined as 'extremely vulnerable by pathology' to the Institutes that treat them with an almost instant result.

But for the 80+ year olds it's still a mess. Today they opened a new vaccination center in Codogno, but many elderly people had already received an appointment for yesterday...
Appointments are also given in provinces other than your own. Apart from the distance, the problem is that if the address of the vaccination center is wrong, if you are not from the area you do not recognize the mistake and you create queues in front of private houses: it happened yesterday in Lodi.

Stavo parlando ieri con SparseRunner di come la Lombardia è alla deriva per quanto riguarda la campagna di vaccinazione regionale.

Ed ecco che questa mattina l'Istituto Besta di Milano mi ha chiamato per un appuntamento per la prima dose di Moderna per domani. A quanto pare hanno finalmente deciso di lasciare le vaccinazioni delle persone definite 'estremamente vulnerabili per patologia' agli Istituti che li hanno in cura con un risultato quasi istantaneo.

Ma per gli anziani di 80+ anni è ancora un macello. Oggi hanno aperto un nuovo centro vaccinale a Codogno, ma molti anziani aveva ricevuto già un appuntamento per la giornata di ieri...
Gli appuntamenti vengono dati anche in province diverse dalla propria. A parte la distanza, il problema è che se sbagliano indirizzo del centro vaccinale, se non si è della zona non si riconosce l'errore e si creano code davanti a case private: è successo ieri a Lodi.
