Back to Old Fremantle Prison - (see MM 23/3/21)
A view of the entrance.
Bell was rung to call work parties back inside.
A canon was fired when a prisoner broke out, a frequent occurrence.
Grand buildings to each side of the entrance were built for senior officers and in use until the 1960s.  I will consider blipping them some time.
