Tulip Flower

I am not fond of tulips, but two years ago I bought some very poor looking bulbs, which were heavily reduced. They flowered last year in both of my front tubs and have done so again this year; one of the flowers is my picture today.
 
The temperature at GMT noon was eleven degrees Celsius. It was frosty first thing, followed by a dull grey morning, but lovely sunshine during the afternoon.
