One of my favourite locations in the Lake District - I love the variety offered at Watendlath, with the farm buildings, the tarn, dry stone walls, pack horse bridge, waterfalls, etc ... I could go on.

Started the day at the Ashness landing stage, but the lake wasn't as calm as we would have liked. Moved on to the viewpoint above Ashness bridge and just after lunch went on to Watendlath.

Pretty good weather and a great day. Still suffering from my cough though, which is driving me mad!
