ALMOST A MONO

It was a busy morning. First, my neighbor across the street posted a video that showed a BOBCAT in their side yard last night. I spoke to her & this was 1 of several previous visits they captured on video.
This means BOBCATS are roaming our street.

Later, I saw another neighbor outside, who invited me to view this young RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD chick, just ready to leave the nest. This nest is located in a dense Magnolia Tree in front of their house, near their fountain. It is the perfect, sheltered place for this tiny bird to hatch. I took a quick photo & stepped away.

All of this happened while I was waiting for the plumber....
