The farmer has now put his signs up.

We spoke to the farmer on 5 March (see my journal entry). He told us of the distress he and his livestock suffer annually during lambing and beyond due to irresponsible pet owners and their dogs. Shocking tales.

359 new coronavirus cases in Scotland today, 353 folks in hospital and 33 in ICU. That’s encouraging.

The Hamilton Report (of the Independent Adviser on the Scottish Ministerial Code) into the self-referral by the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon into allegations that she breached the Code in respect of meetings and discussions with the former First Minister Alex Salmond between 29 March-18 July 2018 and related matters was published his late afternoon. She was vindicated of the allegations levied (read most of the report this evening). Many in opposition were smarting on TV. And a variety of interviews by media were dropped; it’s been ridiculous saturation coverage recently. My family discussed the situation today when we briefly got together for a fresh air cup of tea. And toast (they came after work!).
