Small Tortoiseshell - 1

My first butterfly blip of the year. There were a couple of these healthy looking small tortoiseshells in the garden. Kwdiane says that they look like they are from the second brood of last year which hibernated almost straight away and emerged with the sun.

Day 43 -  Dorset. 1.6 miles walked. 193.9 miles completed.

After a 4 day break I managed a short walk today and finally left Hive Beach. I finished by the Eggcup Tearooms and had a virtual Dorset Cream Tea.
