MonoMonday: Architectural Glimpses

Known as "The Mitchell Park Domes" in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S.A., or simply "The Domes."  There are three climate controlled horticultural domes constructed in geodesic style. One permanent display highlights the arid areas of the earth (here illustrated); one illustrates the tropical areas of the earth; the third dome is the Show Dome and changes its display of flora regularly, usually with respect to the seasons. Wedding photo parties have this place booked years in advance.

There has been some issues with structure stability of materials and there has recently been pieces falling on visitors. I believe the problem has been solved as this is a very popular attraction in the city. Check out the website:  the domes milwaukee
