Badsey Manor House
There has been a Manor House in Badsey connected to Evesham Abbey as far back as 1316. Next to the house is a path called Monks Way which originally ran all the way to the monastery in Evesham. The current day house is built in four different styles as over the years different owners have made substantial changes.
In 1915 the house was used to house German prisoners of war and during World War 2 a number of soldiers were billeted in the house.
The house was divided into two dwellings after the war and remains that way. One of the current owners, Lizzie Noyes, has written n interesting history here - https://www.badseysociety.uk/village-life/badsey-manor-putting-the-manor-context
