Chobham Common

Took advantage of a warm-ish early Spring day to go on a 14 mile bike ride with my daughter. We rode up to and over Chobham Common which is one of the largest areas of lowland heath to be found anywhere in the world. This is an ancient landscape which is home to a rich mix of flora and fauna. Although I'm not sure I would know a Dartford Warbler if I saw or heard one it is also home to this very rare bird. Of course, some would say that Mick Jagger is the original Dartford Warbler!
