No More Flying Off The Handle

I finally got tired of the loose handle on this little Craftsman hatchet and fixed it (again). I also sharpened it. 

I’m not sure how I acquired this — I think I might have found it at a campground when my kids were young. I know it’s been around a long time. I only recently started using it again when I became interested in working with green wood.

I didn’t have any hardwood the first time I replaced the wedge in the handle, but it wasn’t easy to remove it. This time I used a piece of maple. I’m hoping I won’t have to do it again.
