Bannockburn Inlet Footbridge

The new walk was fantastic.  The weather was superb, along with the scenery.  We walked a total of 13K steps or 9 k.  

We parked at the car park by the Bannockburn bridge, walked across the new clipon foot bridge, and followed the track around the Bannockburn Inlet.  The extras are:  (1)  View through the bridge.  (2)  View of the Kawarau River from the Bannockburn bridge  (3)  Our lunch spot.  (4)  The track is made for cyclists.  

We had welcome cuppa and cake at a local cafe before heading for home.  (5)  The Birthday cake from the walkers.  My 80th birthday, keeps on keeping on!
