Turn Around

I don’t remember where I heard it but at some point in my learning about photography someone said when you are captured by a beautiful shot, turn around and see what’s behind you.

So tonight I turned around.

I was taking out the trash and the sunset looked fresh with the Sun beneath the clouds. I was going to capture it when I happened to look around and saw the landscape being lit by a low sun.

The fields look like gold and the sky all blue. The shadows are long tonight too.

I guess turning around sometimes does give a better view.
