Under the Tomcat

Today we visited the Patuxent Naval Air Museum. We were completing one of the required geocaches for the Cache Across Maryland event. 
While we were working on the cache, we met some geocaching friends who were new to the museum. We mentioned that there was an older cache hidden nearby, and they were all-in for the hunt. 
The cache is hidden in the underbelly of a Grumman F-14 Tomcat (the plane featured in "Top Gun.") When the F-14's were retired in 2006, one of them was flown directly from its aircraft carrier to Pax Naval Air Station. From there it was trucked over to the museum, where, in a matter of days, a geocache was placed.
