Fallowfield Fell

Julie and I met up this morning for a walk on Fallowfield Fell. The weather was very kind and we did not need coats. There are a few tiny lambs in the fields, but most of the ewes are still "in waiting".

We have done the same route a few times now and we like the wide open views south over to Hexhamshire and south west to Cross Fell. It was a bit hazy to see that far today.

There is a quiet woodland section, although we met a family of five plus dog having a walk. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Back at home I have done some housework and a bit of tidying up ready for the plumber coming tomorrow.

I also tried out the free voice recognition software on the iPad. I have a friend who needs some. You can pay a fortune for it or you can try Apple's free app.
