Our Elm

This is my favourite tree, one of the few huge elms left in the centre of town. Like its neighbours at the other end of the gardens, it has so far managed to avoid Dutch Elm disease and I just hope it stays healthy. In a few weeks' time the first buds will be appearing and before long there'll be a wood pigeon invasion. Looking forward to it!
