Pond reflections with blossom
Paddy, Caitlin and I worked hard in the garden until mid-afternoon. While the head gardener and his assistant built the wall, I continued my assault against the wild garlic. By the time we hung up our tools for the day, the first row of breeze blocks were cemented in place, and I had almost cleared all the weeds from the area to the left of the pond. My main blip is of reflections of trees in the pond with blossom, and I include a shot of Caitlin making cement as my extra.
As a reward for our gardening efforts, the three of us joined Mr hazelh for late afternoon beer and a couple of games in our shared garden. We played Catan (I won - hurrah), and Carcassonne (Paddy won).
Exercise today: gardening.
