A Light Shines in the Forest

Dear Diary,

V-Day went well, no waiting and they took me ahead of schedule.  Just a tiny bit of a sore arm at the injection site.  Today will be the test though.  This visual metaphor greeted me this morning, a warm light glowing through the dark woods at the edge of my property.  Yes, there is light at the end of this very dark time if we all just take care.  Hope springs eternal in this heart and speaking of spring, it may reach 62 degrees today!  

My first day of the Mystical Scotland yesterday afternoon was wonderful as we virtually walked around the standing stones of Callanish.  It took me back to my time there and today it is on to Iona!
