Mystery solved

We had wondered why there were vehicle tracks down the footpath close to the house as it is definitely not an access to anywhere. It appears an unstable or perhaps diseased tree needed felling. It was a lovely afternoon for a walk. Ground drier than for ages.
Enjoyable chorizo and pearl barley 'meal' soup tonight and a Californian Chardonnay, plus the regular game of cards. Rugby was on in the background, what a finish!!
