Re-purposed

We walked up to the golf course this morning as a friend had told us about the footpath around the edge. We thought we should do it now before golfers return. There were signs asking walkers to remain on the path and keep dogs on a lead. However it did feel like walkers were not taking notice and people were walking everywhere. It was a warm day, and dry.
Ironing done this afternoon and then book finished with coffee.
Door bell went during coffee and it was daughter and her dog, calling for a doorstep checkin. Her partner is in Doha working and they have just been told he will now have to go into a 10 day isolation hotel when he returns, that will wipe out the profit made on the job.
Plus another 10 days away from home.
